How do I transcribe an Instagram Reel?
Select Upload file, choose a saved Reel, then select Transcribe. Public link retrieval currently fails when Instagram declines the relay request. Review the timecodes before exporting your Instagram video transcript.
Which links and files work?
This Instagram transcript generator accepts individual /reel/ and /p/ video links. No Stories, profiles, carousels or private content. The link tool asks a relay to fetch the public video. Uploaded files stay in your browser. If Instagram blocks retrieval, use Upload file for an audio or video file you can use, such as MP3, WAV or MP4. The input limit is 250 MiB. Oversized files are rejected, never shortened.
How does local Instagram transcription work?
The multilingual Whisper tiny model downloads on first use and runs in your browser. Proofread proper names. The model detects the spoken language. Results depend on the recording, especially music and overlapping speech. There is no online transcription API, account or daily credit allowance. The studio does not keep a transcript history.
How do I export my IG transcript?
Copy the words for notes, download TXT with timestamps, or choose SRT for timed subtitles. Each export uses the complete result.
